Spring for Builders

I live in San Francisco, which is right next to startup-ville, USA—a.k.a. Silicon Valley! There's a lot going on there that makes no sense at all! E.g., matcha cold brews, water fasts, Oura ring obsessions, nonsensical ramblings about something called "transhumanism," landlords that accept equity in startups, actually doing pitches in elevators, and most of all, the rent! But there are some things there that are interesting and that work a little differently than we're perhaps used to. In the enterprise, our work is integration. It's designing systems to fold neatly into a large organization's existing technical infrastructure. Startups are different: their goal is to get an MVP up and running and to almost religiously guard against scope creep and extra liability. Join me, Spring Developer Advocate Josh Long, and we'll look at the JVM and Spring Boot's place in the startup.
